Typhoon Haiyan Relief Aid

Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines on 8th November 2013.

Around 3,500 – 4,000 people may have died in just one area of the Philippines hit by Typhoon Haiyan, according to officials.

One of the worst storms on record; it destroyed homes, schools and an airport in the eastern city of Tacloban.

Many Countries have given help and support to the Philippines but it was taking a long time for food and water to reach many of the people, especially in remote areas.

Centurion Scientific CEO and Company Secretary who live in the Philippines along with family and friends made up bundles of food and water for 500 people and hired a 3ton truck to distribute this much needed aid. 100 packages of sweets were also prepared for the children.
